Universal’s Lab-Seal® Tamper-Evident Specimen Bags are designed to ensure the safe and secure transfer of medical specimens in hospitals and other healthcare environments, while also offering cost-effective disposal. The bags feature a special pull-tab mechanism that, once pulled, seals the bag securely with adhesive glue. Once sealed, the bag cannot be accessed without tearing off the marked tab, providing a tamper-evident seal that ensures specimen integrity.
The three-wall construction includes an outer pouch for storing accompanying paperwork, ensuring everything stays organized during transfer. These bags are manufactured in a Trade Agreement Act (TAA)-designated country, making them compliant with US government standards and eligible for use by governmental organizations, including the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
